It's time to say goodbye to boring, unhealthy store-bought crackers. Elevate your snack game by making these homemade nut and seed crackers!
These crackers are easy and fun to make, gluten-free, and bursting with flavorful healthy goodness! The kids will have fun helping to roll these simple crackers.
Warning: These healthy treats are addictive. You can customize them any way you'd like. I added garlic and onion powders, Italian seasonings and cayenne pepper for a burst of flavor.
DID YOU KNOW?
Cayenne pepper contains Capsaicin, a compound that gives the pepper its heat. This compound also interacts with the body's pain receptors and triggers the release of nitric oxide which is a powerful vasodilator. Vasodilators help to improve blood flow, lower blood pressure, and help to reduce inflammation.
Omega fatty acids: Flaxseeds are a great source of omega 3 fatty acids and while almonds have less omega 3 fatty acids they are still great for heart health! Including a variety of nuts and seeds helps contribute to overall heart health and well being.
These crackers are great enjoyed with bit of hummus, your favorite soup recipe, or as a crunchy topping for your favorite casserole. Be amazed by the nutty goodness of these savory crackers!
